Located between the Core Worlds and the Inner Rim, the Colonies Region of the galaxy sat along major trade routes, and due to this, some of them were extremely wealthy. During the Clone Wars several battles reached this region of the galaxy. Towards the end of the war on Cato Neimoidia, the
Trade Federation's capital world, the Republic fought a prolonged campaign against Separatist forces led by Nute Gunray. On Devaron, Count Dooku sent droid forces to cease the Jedi Temple of Eedit and met considerable resistance.
This symbol marks a world that was first created for a canon literary source (reference books, novels, young adult novels, etc.) Other entries with literary sources have Legends counterparts.
This symbol marks a world that was ‘canonized’ in a recent Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying sourcebook. Wookieepedia considers the FFG material fully canon but its mix of Legends and canon content puts it somewhere in the middle. I decided to include these worlds in the Archive, for inclusiveness.
This symbol marks an entry as a moon. And since moons can be just as populated and culturally or historically significant as a planet (think Nar Shaddaa and Yavin IV), the distinction was important.
This symbol marks an entry as a moon and created for a canon literary source.

If a world's only "canon" source in Wookieepedia is The Force Awakens Beginner Roleplaying Game, it will not be included in this collection.
A world that holds some importance to the Imperial war machine as it
houses shipyards or drydocks, or is a key mining center for metals and ores. (Star Wars: Rebel Files)

had its repository in geostationary orbit between mesospheric cloud layers on Clerion. (Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide)
A swampy and stinky planet
and the homeworld of the
Cloddogran species. (Pirate's Price)
A planet covered by a membranous

A cold tundra planet orbited by a pair of moons. Due to its frigid climate, only the area around the equator was livable to its human population.
The underground of the planet had extensive systems of caves and hot springs. Hynestia was ruled by a royal family.
(Lando's Luck)
A jungle moon of the planet Ketz
that was home to the sentient Ketzalian species
and the hybrid loralora bird. It's also possible
the moon's name itself was Ketz. (A Crash of Fate)
A wet, gloomy planet located at the heart of the Neimoidian purse-worlds and the homeworld of the Narquois species, whose ancestors dwelled in the trees of the world's fungus forests. Because of the fungi's blue coloration,
most of the Narquois' physical features were of the same color
to serve as camouflage. Seeing the natives as little more
than cheap labor, the Neimoidians occupied Narq and treated
the Narquois as virtual serfs for centuries. (Star Wars: Tarkin)
