These are all the worlds (planets and moons) mentioned in any canon Star Wars media that—as of yet—have no known regional placement on the galactic map. And there are many. Authors and other creators love making fun sounding planet names and then just leaving them there on the page, screen, or otherwise. Very rarely is there any hint of where they are located in the galaxy. And so this section is dedicated to these homeless worlds. BTW, I use the word 'world' when it's not specified whether an entry is a planet or moon.
This symbol marks a world that was first created for a canon literary source (reference books, novels, young adult novels, etc.) Other entries with literary sources have Legends counterparts.
This symbol marks a world that was ‘canonized’ in a recent Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying sourcebook. Wookieepedia considers the FFG material fully canon but its mix of Legends and canon content puts it somewhere in the middle. I decided to include these worlds in the Archive, for inclusiveness.
This symbol marks an entry as a moon. And since moons can be just as populated and culturally or historically significant as a planet (think Nar Shaddaa and Yavin IV), the distinction was important.
This symbol marks an entry as a moon and created for a canon literary source.
This symbol marks a world that saw significant military conflict during the Clone Wars (22 BBY - 19 BBY).
This symbol marks a world that saw significant military conflict during the Galactic Civil War (0 BBY - 5 ABY).
This symbol marks a world that saw significant military conflict during the war between the First Order and the Resistance (34 ABY - ? BBY).
If a world's only "canon" source in Wookieepedia is The Force Awakens Beginner Roleplaying Game, it will not be included in this collection.

Polyneus was the name outsiders gave the world. To those who lived there, it was Home. During the Clone Wars, the world had been ignored, unscathed. The Republic had no strategic reason to garrison there and the Separatists had seen it as a backwater, a primitive place full of primitive people. But the Polyneans were not primitive. They did not reject science of galactic technologies, but they were judicious in what they permitted on their world. They built cities into mountainsides and into jungles and on mighty platforms above lakes. They milked beasts and grew crops, but where their needs would bring suffering to living creatures or exhaust the natural landscape they tasked their engineers with finding technological solutions. The Empire didn’t interfere with Polyneus when Wyl Lark was young (at least not that he could remember), but when he turned twelve, the Empire’s presence became unmissable. They built
a weapons platform in low atmosphere, for unknown reasons. The elders of the settlements petitioned the Empire when they saw the damage being done from the platforms. The Empire promised inspections and studies, both those promises where never kept. Slowly, the planet’s atmosphere began to die. That’s when the elders reached out to the Rebel Alliance. The ‘Hik’e-Matriarch’—translate it as ‘queen’, though the title is more complicated than that—knew the rebels needed pilots. So she offered to send one of the finest sur-avka fliers from each community to serve with the Rebellion until Polyneus was free from the Emperor’s shadow. Those volunteers from Polyneus who found their way into the Alliance were called the Hundred and Twenty. Over a month after the Battle of Endor, Polyneus was still not free of the Emperor’s shadow.
